Project Proposal
For
my research paper I am focusing on the topic of how animal abuse is connected
to domestic violence. I don’t have a specific thesis yet because I need to go
more in depth with my articles. I’m hoping my paper will give readers the
information they need to be aware that animal abuse can have a deeper meaning,
but that it doesn’t always. I also want to provide basic information and facts
to clear up any misconceptions about abuse and to give a definition of what
animal abuse and domestic violence are in terms of the articles.
My
paper will bring up the questions “why do people
abuse animals?”, “how are animal abuse and domestic violence related?”, and “how
often are animal abuse and domestic violence linked?” I do have personal
opinions on the subject, but my goal is to remain unbiased and give the best,
most valid information that I can. I feel very strongly on the subject of
animal abuse and really want to spread the word on what it is and how to see
the signs of it.
